Police plea over A90 speed camera fire bid at Rathen

Police have appealed for information after an attempt to set fire to a speed camera on the A90 in Aberdeenshire in the early hours.

The incident happened on the northbound carriageway near Rathen at about 00:30 on Thursday.

Police Scotland said officers were particularly keen to trace a lorry driver who flagged down a passing road agency Bear Scotland vehicle to inform them of the fire.
