Man airlifted after HGVs crash on A90

A man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash involving three lorries in Aberdeenshire.

The collision happened on the southbound carriageway of he A90, near Fordoun, just before 13:00.

The man had to be freed from his cab by firefighters. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The road was closed but later partially re-opened.
