Boy, 15, charged after bomb squad called out in Aberdeen
A 15-year-old boy has been charged after the bomb squad was called out following a break-in at a business premises in Aberdeen.
Police said they had found a suspicious item while investigating the incident in Springhill Road at about 21:15 on Monday.
An explosive ordnance disposal unit from Edinburgh attended but was later stood down.
The boy is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Police Scotland said there was no wider threat to the public.
A cordon was set up around the building but no-one was evacuated from nearby homes.
