Man held after '£40,000 of drugs' recovered in Aberdeen

Drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds have been seized in Aberdeen, police have said.

Cocaine and heroin with an estimated street value of more than £40,000 was recovered in the Sandilands Drive area on Wednesday.

Police Scotland said it followed an intelligence-led operation.

A 29-year-old man was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
