Police car on emergency call crashes in Aberdeen

A police patrol car answering an emergency call in Aberdeen crashed into a set of traffic lights.

The incident happened at about 05:00 on Great Northern Road at the junction with Don Street.

A male police officer, who was the only person in the car at the time, was uninjured.

Meanwhile, one person was cut free from their car after a three-vehicle accident on the A90 at about 07:30 near the Muchalls bends.
