Woman 'may have been sex attack victim' in Elgin

A woman assaulted in Elgin may have been the victim of a sex attack, police have said.

The woman, in her 30s, was assaulted in the Murray Street area of the Moray town on Wednesday evening.

Police Scotland said one line of enquiry being pursued was that the incident was of a sexual nature.

Officers want to trace a white man in his 40s, of slim build, who was bald or balding. He was wearing a white T-shirt with a dark round pattern on the front.
