Relatives of an 89-year-old woman who died after being knocked down by a car in Aberdeenshire have said she will be "sorely missed".
Mary Donald, of Ellon, was crossing a bridge on the A920 South Road on Saturday when the incident happened.
She was taken to hospital but died.
The family said in a statement: "She was known for being out walking, which she did everyday rain or shine. She was a much-loved mum, granny and great granny."
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
