Vandals target historic Ferryhill train site in Aberdeen

Vandals have caused hundreds of pounds of damage at a former locomotive depot in Aberdeen.

The Ferryhill Railway Heritage Trust is trying bring an A-listed turntable back into use.

Several windows have been smashed at the site, including those on a vintage 1950s engine. It is understood the vandalism took place at some time between Thursday and Saturday.

The Trust described it as a "kick in the teeth" and a setback.
