Aberdeen nursery 'weak' in inspection report

The quality of care at an Aberdeen nursery has been described as weak by the Care Inspectorate.

An inspection of Tree House Early Care and Education Centre in Garthdee found the medication of a child - who could require immediate life-saving treatment - had recently expired.

A report also said that allergy information for the child was inconsistent.

The nursery was told to ensure that procedures are effectively implemented.

The report highlighted the fact that children were supported by staff in a compassionate manner, and that staff respected their wishes and needs.

The quality of staffing, environment and management were all described as adequate.
