Missing woman Seonaid Bacon found 'safe and well'

A 52-year-old woman who was missing in Aberdeenshire has been traced and is said to be "safe and well".

A police helicopter and search dog team had been involved in a search for Seonaid (Shona) Bacon.

She was reported missing after she was last seen at about 12:20 in the Skelmanae area, near the A98 Fraserburgh to Banff road.

The police have thanked the public and the media for their assistance in the search.
