Boy, 12, charged over 'school bus knife' in Mearns area

A 12-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly being caught with a knife on a school bus in the Mearns area of Aberdeenshire.

The incident happened at about 15:30 on Monday.

Police Scotland said a report would be sent to the Youth Justice Management Unit.
