Findlater's to supply pate to UK Waitrose stores

The specialist Scottish pate producer, Findlater's, has signed a nationwide deal with the supermarket chain, Waitrose.

The contract was won following successful sales in Scottish branches of Waitrose during the last six months.

Findlater's will supply three lines to 60 stores south of the border from the start of May 2011.

Martin Findlater Henderson, founder of the Linlithgow-based company said it was fantastic news.

Adam Kennedy, Waitrose delicatessen buyer, said: "Findlater's are a perfect example of the type of supplier we love to work with.

Findlater's Fine Foods pate will also be stocked in Waitrose's fourth Scottish store which opens in Newton Mearns in Renfrewshire on the 12 May.
