Two stabbed in separate attacks in Glasgow

Police are investigating two stabbing incidents in Glasgow which have left two men seriously injured.

A 65-year-old man was stabbed in Auchencrow Street, Easterhouse, at about 2030 BST on Friday.

He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he was being treated for head and hand injuries.

In a separate incident, a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the back after an altercation with two men and a woman in Craighouse Street, Ruchazie.

The incident took place at about 1900 BST on Friday.

The man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where his condition was described as serious but stable.

Police said no description was available of the two men and the woman involved in the incident, but they were last seen getting into a white private hire taxi on Craighouse Street just after the attack took place.
