Graham's The Family Dairy has signed a deal to supply branded milk and butter products to all Scotmid stores across Scotland.

The move follows a successful trial involving Graham's products in Scotmid stores in Edinburgh.

Under the deal, the Bridge of Allan-based dairy will provide some of its products to more than 200 stores.

Graham's products made with Jersey milk will also be introduced to selected shops.

Graham's managing director Robert Graham said: "We are delighted our products performed so well during the trial in Scotmid stores and over and above that, we believe the company is an ideal retail partner as it shares our aims and aspirations.

"Like us, Scotmid is rooted in Scottish communities while focused on exceptional consumer service and we really appreciate the opportunity to work with them to give consumers increased access to our range of products."

In May, Graham's announced plans to expand after securing £20m in funding support from Royal Bank of Scotland.

The company said it would use the cash to develop new products and invest in its brand.
