Jedburgh supermarket plans unveiled

Plans have been unveiled to build a new supermarket in the Scottish Borders on a former factory site.

Kent-based Sheppy Industries wants to erect a 14,000-square foot retail outlet on the old Oregon Homes site on the outskirts of Jedburgh.

Talks have been ongoing with Scottish Borders Council since last November and full retail, employment and transport studies have been completed.

A detailed full planning application in principle has now been made.
