Eyemouth caravan park site extension rejected

Delayed plans to expand a Borders caravan park have been rejected by councillors.

Scottish Borders Council deferred a decision last month on 46 static homes at Eyemouth Caravan Park, to discuss their location and improved screening.

The project has drawn a number of objections due to visual impact and loss of open space.

Planning officers had recommended approval for the plans by Humberts Leisure, with a number of conditions.
