Lorry driver crushed between HGVs at Gretna

A lorry driver has been taken to hospital in Carlisle after becoming crushed between two HGVs at a lorry park in Dumfries and Galloway.

The incident happened at Gretna Services on the M74 at about 2005 GMT on Monday.

It is understood the man, who is in his late 20s, got out of his cab to shout at the driver of the lorry in front as it was reversing.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
