Annan house cash theft youths pursued

Police have launched an investigation into the theft of a large amount of money from a house near Annan.

The incident happened in the Jockstown area some time between 1415 and 1515 GMT on Sunday.

Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary want to trace two youths who were seen asking for work that day.

One was thought to be about 11 or 12 years old with short, brown hair while the second was 13 or 14 years old with brown, cropped hair and a slim build.

The younger boy was between 4ft and 4ft 6in tall and was wearing blue jeans and a dark, zipped top and well-worn, white trainers.

The second youth was between 5ft and 5ft 3in tall, and was also wearing jeans with a brown, zipped top and spoke with a local accent.
