Child in critical condition after A75 crash

A young child has been badly injured after a crash on the A75 in southern Scotland on Saturday.

The collision, involving a silver Renault Clio and a Landrover Discovery, happened on the Gretna to Stranraer road.

The incident occurred at the junction of the B7020 at Annan.

A 16-month-old boy was taken to Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow, where his condition was described as critical. Police have appealed for witnesses.
