Police arrest 13 people in Stranraer drug operation

An operation targeting drug activity in south west Scotland has led to 13 arrests, police have said.

Operation Oblivion was launched in October last year amid growing concern about drug dealing in Stranraer.

A report prepared for Dumfries and Galloway Council said those arrested faced charges including attempted murder, abduction and drugs offences.

Police said the drug charges related to the supply of cocaine, ecstasy, diazepam and cannabis.
