Peeblesshire cyclist sought after A701 crash

Police are trying to trace a cyclist who helped at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the Scottish Borders.

The incident happened at about 0930 GMT on Saturday on the A701 near Whim Hall.

The collision, involving a car and a tractor, resulted in a man and two women needing treatment at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The road was closed for four hours after the crash. Police would like to speak to the cyclist who rode off after the emergency services arrived.
