Peebles drugs charges after cannabis finds

Two men have been charged with drugs offences following the discovery of cannabis at two properties in Peebles.

Police made the finds during searches of premises in Clark Place and Connor Ridge in the town on Saturday.

A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said the total street value of the cannabis recovered was estimated at more than £5,000.

He confirmed two local men, aged 29 and 26, had been charged after the finds at the weekend.
