Berwickshire farm dog attack leaves sheep dead

Police have appealed for information after a dog attack killed one sheep and left another two seriously injured on a Scottish Borders farm.

The incident happened some time between 21 and 26 April at the site at Foulden in Berwickshire.

Dogs attacked six texel sheep and one of them, valued at £500, died as a result of its injuries.

Another two were left with serious wounds which police said "may yet prove fatal".

Anyone with information has been urged to contact Lothian and Borders Police.
