Scottish election: Voter appeal after post box fire
Scottish Borders Council has made an appeal to voters who may have used a post box which was damaged by fire.
The incident happened on the Woodmarket in Kelso on Saturday evening.
The council said it was of "particular concern" as it was currently receiving postal votes for the Scottish elections and the referendum on voting reform.
It has appealed for anyone who used the post box after 1230 BST on Saturday to contact their local election office for fresh ballot papers.
