Dumfries traffic plan views sought

People in Dumfries are being urged not to miss the opportunity to have their say on options to tackle severe traffic congestion on the south side of town.

It comes with just over a week to go until the deadline for submissions as part of a consultation on the plans.

All are designed to ease pressure on key routes to and from the town's infirmary and the Crichton campus.

They range from road modifications costing several thousand pounds to a partial southern bypass costing £18m.

Details of the possible projects and survey forms are available online at the council website or in paper form from customer service centres and libraries.
