Approval sought on Dumfries and Galloway fire targets

New emergency standards are set to be approved for Dumfries and Galloway Fire and Rescue Service.

Councillors are being asked to support the strategy, which outlines target response times for crews.

It follows a period of consultation on the document which has been based on historical call-out data.

The emergency response standards set out target times for attending incidents according to their level of severity.

Dumfries and Galloway Council's police and fire committee, which endorsed the proposed strategy, is now being asked for formal approval.
