Borders police issue car seizures warning

Police in the Borders have vowed to continue a crackdown on unlicensed and uninsured drivers which has already seen more than 50 vehicles seized.

Insp Colin Shillito said they were determined to make routes in the region safer and reduce road casualties.

Some 52 vehicles have been seized by the force between July and November this year.

Police said their work would continue and anyone driving without a licence or insurance would be caught.
