Four reported after former Wallacehall Primary fire

Four teenagers are to be reported to the procurator fiscal and the Children's Reporter after a fire in a former school in Thornhill.

Emergency services were called to the blaze at the disused Wallacehall Primary site at about 22:00 on Monday.

Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary said four boys, three of them aged 16 and one aged 14, would be reported in relation to the incident.

The school site has sat empty since a new primary opened in January 2010.
