Langholm police find cannabis plants worth £114,000

A man has been reported to the procurator fiscal after cannabis plants with a street value of £114,000 were found in rural Dumfries and Galloway.

Police uncovered a "cultivation site" in the Westerkirk area near Langholm on Friday.

Det Sgt Dean Little said the operation had come as a result of information received from the public.

A 41-year-old man has now been reported for offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
