Selkirk crash woman suffers spinal injury

A woman has suffered suspected spinal injuries in a road accident on the A699 Selkirk to St Boswells road in the Scottish Borders.

Her car left the road and spun before coming to rest in a nearby field at about 09:00.

Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service had to cut her free from the vehicle and she was then taken to Borders General Hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
