Man airlifted after crash on A75 near Annan

A 34-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash between a LandRover and a lorry which has closed the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway.

The accident happened on the Stranraer to Gretna road about two miles west of Annan at about 09:15.

The LandRover driver suffered serious head and leg injuries. He was flown to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.

Police closed the road while crash investigations were carried out.

Witnesses to the crash have been urged to come forward.
