Dumfries heroin dealers handed jail terms

Two drug dealers have been jailed after being caught in possession of heroin twice in the space of three months.

Victoria Brown, 33, and George Burgess, 24, admitted being involved in the supply of the drug at their Dumfries home and elsewhere in the town.

Dumfries Sheriff Court heard Brown had taken to supplying to feed her own habit after her heroin intake spiralled out of control.

Both Brown and Burgess were jailed for 27 months.
