Solway Harvester wreck concerns remain

Help

A member of the Isle of Man parliament is making a fresh attempt to see if the wreck of the Solway Harvester can be removed from Douglas harbour.

The Kirkcudbright scallop dredger sank in heavy seas off the island in January 2000 with the loss of seven fishermen from Galloway.

Leonard Singer told the BBC's Good Morning Scotland programme that it was time to take action over the wreck, which has lain rusting in Douglas harbour for nearly 12 years.
