Reston woman cut free following crash

A woman has been taken to hospital after being cut free from her vehicle following a two-car crash in the Scottish Borders.

The incident happened just south of the village of Reston at about 16:45 on Tuesday.

The 65-year-old was cut free by firefighters called to the scene of the crash.

She was taken to Borders General Hospital suffering shock, along with cuts and bruises.
