Diver who died off St Abbs named as Paul Fisher from Rotherham

A diver who died off the Berwickshire coast on Saturday has been named as Paul Fisher from Rotherham.

Mr Fisher had been with a group from South Yorkshire diving at St Abbs when he was said to have taken ill.

He was picked up by the group's dive boat before being transferred to the St Abbs lifeboat and then to a Royal Navy helicopter.

The 52-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
