Livingston man David Reilly identified as A74(M) crash victim

A 66-year-old man from Livingston has been identified as the victim of a crash in southern Scotland.

David Reilly, of Mallard Brae, was killed in the accident on the A74(M) near Ecclefechan in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He was the only occupant of a Toyota Hi Lux with a caravan attached which was involved in a collision with a lorry.

Both carriageways of the motorway were closed for a considerable length of time after the accident.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact them.
