Missing Borders man Allan McTeir traced in London

A missing Borders man has been traced in London after his family issued an appeal for information.

Allan McTeir, originally from Peebles, had last been seen at a relative's address in Lambeth on 18 June.

It prompted his family to release a statement urging him to contact them or police to let them know he was safe.

Police Scotland confirmed he had been found in London and thanked the public for their assistance with the appeal.
