Auldgirth garage tool raid probed

Police have launched an investigation after tools worth between £50,000 and £60,000 were stolen from a garage in Dumfries and Galloway.

The incident happened in Auldgirth some time between 23:00 on Monday and 10:00 on Sunday.

Police said a large quantity of high value tools were stolen during the break-in.

They included diagnostic testers, battery guns and an electric hacksaw.
