Ward 14 was shut to visitors, new admissions and transfers on Wednesday and the closure has now been extended to include ward six.

NHS Dumfries and Galloway has taken the decision to keep both wards closed until at least Monday.

Full infection control measures have been put in place in order to help tackle the outbreak.
