Mabie forestry raid takes bikes and tools

Police are investigating a "high value" theft of mountain bikes and tools from a Forestry Commission office in southern Scotland.

The incident took place some time overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday at the site in Mabie Forest near Dumfries.

Five mountain bikes worth about £13,000 were taken from storage barns.

Chainsaws, a pole saw, a leaf blower and a generator were taken from another store on the site.
