Moffat dentist handed 12-month suspension

A Dumfriesshire dentist has had his registration suspended for 12 months following a misconduct hearing.

A General Dental Council conduct committee upheld multiple charges against Viadutis Sitka.

They related to failings in diagnosis, clinical standards and record-keeping.

The case against the Lithuania-born dentist involved his treatment of 15 patients while employed at the Moffat Dental Centre between June and October 2009.
