Fresh appeal for Glenluce bike fall witnesses

Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses to a bike fall on Glenluce bypass which left a 71-year-old woman in a serious condition in hospital.

She was accompanied by another cyclist when the incident happened on the A75 at about 13:50 on Monday.

Police are keen to speak to any motorist on the road between Dunragit and Glenluce around that time.

They are also trying to locate the driver of a black Vauxhall Vectra or Renault Laguna seen in the area.

The woman remains in the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow where her condition is described as "serious but stable".
