£20,000 jewel haul taken in Lochmaben break-in

Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves made off with jewellery worth up to £20,000 from a break-in in Lochmaben.

The incident happened at a house on Nethermill Road some time between 14:00 on Friday and 12:20 on Saturday.

A large quantity of jewellery, worth between £10,000 and £20,000, was stolen in the break-in.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area has been asked to contact police with information.
