Sheep worth £10,000 stolen from Waterbeck farm land

One hundred sheep worth around £10,000 in total have been stolen from fields around a south of Scotland farm.

The animals were taken between 26 September and 3 October from land near High Stenries farm at Waterbeck in Dumfries and Galloway.

Police launched an investigation after the theft was reported to them on 10 October.

Officers appealed for information about the theft. The stolen sheep are Texel cross and Cheviot Mule cross ewes.
