Eildon Housing Association plans £2.6m property investment

Eildon Housing Association is set to invest about £2.6m in properties across the Borders over the next three years.

The social landlord, with a head office in Selkirk, is seeking expressions of interest in two major contracts as part of a stock investment programme.

The contracts, to be awarded next year, involve the installation of kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems.

Eildon, which has over 2,200 rented properties in the region, is to split the work based on geographical areas.

The company is to host a briefing on the works programme and its procurement process on 22 October for all organisations that have registered an interest.
