Dalkeith church elder exposed himself to masseuse in Eddleston

A church elder deliberately exposed himself to a beauty therapist during a massage in a luxury hotel.

Retired businessman Charles Fraser, 66, admitted exposing himself in a sexual manner at the Black Barony Hotel in Eddleston, Peeblesshire.

Selkirk Sheriff Court heard that when the female therapist turned round after getting more massage oil, Fraser had removed his towel and was lying on his back with his hands above his head.

He was fined £500.

He was also ordered to pay £200 compensation.

Following the incident, the woman fled from the room and described Fraser, from Dalkeith, Midlothian as a "perv" to a colleague.

Fraser, a Children's Panel advisory committee clerk, blamed his behaviour on 23 May on the after-effects of treatment for prostate cancer.
