Woman, 80, threatened by gunman in Selkirk home
A man who threatened an elderly woman in her home had a gun, police have confirmed.
He took cash and a car from the 80-year-old woman, who lives in the Yarrow valley area of Selkirk.
Police Scotland has renewed its appeal for witnesses to the incident which happened at about 21:15 on Wednesday.
The gunman, who was in his late teens or 20s, escaped in her silver Ford Fusion, which was later recovered in Bannerfield Drive in Selkirk.
He had dark hair and was wearing a navy hat with a logo, a grey jumper and jeans.
Police said a man fitting the description was seen walking in the Yarrow valley area on the A708 just before the robbery.
