Road reopens after A709 Lochmaben accident

The A709 Dumfries to Lockerbie road has reopened after a crash at Lochmaben.

Emergency services were sent to the scene of the incident and police said people were trapped in the two vehicles involved.

The crash happened at about 14:30, near Lochmaben hospital, and involved a Suzuki Swift and Ford Ranger pick-up.

Diversions were put in place while the road was closed.
