Motorist killed in bridge crash on A198 near Dunbar

A man has died after his car crashed into a bridge, according to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS).

Firefighters were called to the scene on the A198 near Dunbar in East Lothian at 11:38 on Monday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the SFRS said.

There were no other vehicles involved in the collision, which happened between Whitekirk and Tyninghame, and no-one else in the car.
