Galloway JCB computer equipment thefts investigated

Police have launched an investigation after onboard computer equipment worth thousands of pounds was stolen from two JCB diggers in Galloway.

The first incident happened at Clatteringshaws, off the A712, overnight between Thursday and Friday.

The second took place on the same evening near Murray's Monument, also off the A712 in Galloway.

Police are keen to trace the driver of a silver Mitsubishi Shogun seen near the scene of the second theft.

He was wearing an orange fluorescent jacket.
